Saphira needs our help

On May 9th 2013 Saphira was viciously attacked by a dog. She suffered many bites that resulted in a life threatening infection. She has been at the Columbia Square Animal Hospital since May 12, 2013. She has had many surgeries to repair the damage from the bite wound and infection. She lost most of the skin on her abdomen. As of now she is all stitched up and doing well, but the infection has to be 100% gone before she can be discharged. As of today, she has been in the hospital for 33 days at approximately $100 per day, plus the cost of the specialist.

Saphira’s guardian came to us for help to pay for the cost of Saphira’s care. We do not have a fund that supports individual pet guardians, but we hope we can help her through sharing Saphira’s story and asking the community to help.
