Paws for Hope and Bosley’s Columbia Square have partnered with Columbia Square Animal Hospital and Charlie’s Petspa & Daycare to provide homeless and low income pet guardians with a check-up for their cat or dog, that will include vaccinations, flea treatment and/or deworming, nail trimming and other minor grooming on Sunday, March 3rd, 10am-6pm.

In November 2011, Paws for Hope established Roxy’s Fund, a program that supports homeless, street involved and low income pet guardians through the provision of food and other supplies, such as bedding, collars and leashes. Through their partnerships with service agencies in Vancouver and New Westminster, it became apparent that access to routine veterinary care was very difficult and Paws for Hope is working to fill this gap.

Bosley’s Pet Food Plus is committed to animal welfare and supporting local communities. Bosley’s Columbia Square, New Westminster, has been a donation drop off location for Roxy’s Fund for the past six months and is pleased to be able to help enhance the support this valuable program provides.

We welcome all donations in support of these services to aid pets from your community.
