Free animal health clinic helps pets who need it the most

Paws for Hope Animal Foundation, in partnership with The Portland Hotel Society, is holding a free animal health care clinic for the pets of those who are no or low income. Free vet care services will include physical exams, vaccinations, flea and/or deworming treatments, nail trimming and ear cleaning provided by Paws for Hope directors Dr. Shawn Llewellyn and Dr. Melissa Stephens, along with Paws for Hope’s supporting volunteer health clinic team.

Sunday, October 15, 2017, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Portland Hotel Society, 20 West Hastings Vancouver

Media are welcome between 11a.m – 1 p.m. to cover the heartfelt stories that will certainly play out that day. Help B.C. residents understand the life-saving connection these people have with their four-legged friends and what’s needed to keep all pets healthy, regardless of where they live.
